He apologized but told me that was just the way it was. I asked the tech where the switch was but he said that there isn't one. All the time in the room I was hearing a loud fan noise coming from the bathroom. He then went up to the AC vent and pulled out a very clogged filter (don't they change them regularly?) and put in a new one. He informed me that the company has them locked and I was out of luck. I asked the tech if he could unlock the thermostat so I could set it to 65 ( what I use at home). They said they had no record of it but would send someone up asap. After waiting 45 minutes, I had to call again. They said someone from building maintenance would be up shortly. I called the front desk and advised them of the situation.

I tried to lower the AC but it is locked so you can't go any lower than 68 degrees. However, we had a problem with the room being too hot. First off, the deluxe king room is much smaller than what we're used to in casino hotels. I must share how disappointed I was in our room. Went to Hard Rock to have a romantic dinner and night out.
